Show Your Eyes Some Love This Valentine’s Day, With Dark Chocolate


We have known for some time that dark chocolate has health benefits, by increasing blood flow in arteries. Now a recent study has shown a short-term improvement in visual acuity and contrast sensitivity with dark chocolate. As not to overdue calorie-wise, I do recommend to many of my patients to eat ten to twenty grams (one or two squares ) of minimum 60% cacao chocolate every couple days. This along with a healthy diet can be very beneficial to your eye health.
